St. Croix River Trip
The St. Croix river is an excellent option for those looking for a Fall River Trip in Maine. Consistent water levels, excellent fishing, and well established campsites make this river an excellent trip for both novice and advanced paddlers. Forming the southeasterly boundary between Maine and New Brunswick, the St. Croix River provides the canoeist with the steady challenge of both Class I and II rapids, getting progressively more difficult as the paddler makes their way down the river. This 4-day, 3-night trip is an excellent way to view the start of the Fall foliage in Maine and can be an excellent section of river to see moose, bald eagles, and catch fish!
Dates: September 10th – 13th
Location: St. Croix River, Maine between Vanceboro and Kellyland
Notes: Includes canoes, equipment, food, and transportation. Participant’s are responsible for bringing their own clothing and rain gear.
